Postcards
A postcard is a 210×99 mm card posted without an envelope. You upload the finished artwork as a two-page PDF; the platform adds bleed, crop marks, the postage mark, the sender line and each recipient's address, then hands one PDF per recipient to the print partner exactly as it does for letters.
Web app only for now
Postcards are created in the web app under Vykort. A POST /api/v1/campaigns request with format=postcard and an API key receives 403 forbidden. They are also paid by card only — prepaid letters (credits) cannot buy postcards.
Your PDF
| Pages | Exactly 2: page 1 is the front (picture side), page 2 the back |
| Size | 210 × 99 mm per page, ±3 mm — or 230 × 119 mm if you have already added 10 mm of bleed on every side |
| Orientation | Landscape. A 99 × 210 mm page is refused, not rotated |
| Format | application/pdf, ≤ 20 MB |
The back's left half is yours. Everything the postal service needs is printed on the right half, over your artwork, at fixed positions:
| Element | Position (from the card's top-left corner) |
|---|---|
| Divider rule | x = 122 mm, y = 7 → 92 mm |
| Sender lines | Along the divider, bottom to top: Avs: 21 Grams AB, Box 43, 121 25 Stockholm. Produktion: DR.se and Returadress: <your return address> |
| Postage mark | Top right: B PP Sverige, Port Payé / Ej retur |
| Recipient address | x = 134 mm, y = 42 mm, 70 × 25 mm; up to 3 lines, 11 pt shrinking to 6 pt when a line is long |
Keep the right half of the back free of anything you need to stay legible.
Bleed and crop marks
The card the printer cuts is 210 × 99 mm, but the sheet they print is 230 × 119 mm. When you upload the bare card, the platform fills the extra 10 mm on every side by mirroring your artwork's edges outward, and draws crop marks at the trim corners. If you upload a 230 × 119 mm page instead, it is used as-is — draw your own bleed and leave the outer 10 mm free of anything important.
Delivery
Each recipient's card is rendered as a two-page 230 × 119 mm PDF, and the whole run is then merged into one PDF — front, back, front, back, in recipient order — with the design stored once and shared by every card, so a run of a thousand cards is not much bigger than one. There is no manifest: the postcard printer takes the PDF alone. Review and approval work as for campaigns, but approved postcards are not transferred to the print partner automatically: the operator downloads the PDF, hands it over manually and then marks the campaign as handed over, which is what moves it to delivered and sends the customer the "on its way" mail.
Before the cards are rendered, images in the uploaded PDF are slimmed once per campaign — pixels outside the printed card are cropped, images above 300 dpi are resampled to 300 dpi, and losslessly stored photographs become high-quality JPEGs. Text, vectors and colour profiles are untouched.
Price
One krona under the letter rate in every bracket, ex VAT:
| Postcards | Per card |

| 1–499 | 11,90 kr |
| 500–999 | 10,90 kr |

Julkort (a postcard with one of the ready-made designs) cost a flat 19,00 kr per card ex VAT, whatever the volume.
Julkort
Listorna skiljs åt med cardDesign=any (Julkort) respektive cardDesign=none (Vykort).
